The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is one of the smartest, toughest, and most capable trucks available — and now it’s refreshed and better than ever for 2022.
New for 2022, the Silverado boasts a more powerful standard 2.7-liter turbo engine, and the available 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel can tow an extra 4,000 pounds (for a total of 13,300 pounds).
The new-look exterior of the 2022 Silverado includes new grille and front fascia designs to go with available daytime running lamps with animated light sequences that activate when you approach the truck or walk away from it.
Inside, the 2022 Silverado is available with a new 13.4-inch touch screen and 12.3-inch digital cluster, plus built-in, voice-activated access to convenient features like Google Assistant and Google Maps. The center console has also been redesigned to be more useful.
For the first time ever, the Silverado will be available with cutting-edge Super Cruise driving tech. This system even lets you tow a trailer while driving hands-free, and it’s fully integrated with the Silverado’s many other advanced towing features.
Perhaps most exciting of all, there’s an all-new ZR2 off-road trim in the 2022 Silverado lineup. This truck delivers 420 horsepower with its 6.2-liter V8, comes equipped with a specially tuned suspension and Multimatic DSSV™ dampers, and shows off rugged features like a skid plate package and 33-inch off-road tires.
You won’t have to wait much longer to experience the upgraded 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500—we’re expecting it to arrive this spring here at Amistad Motors in Fort Stockton, Texas.
